Jessica's "The Search For Treeshana"

In this story, is "The Forest of Baracamboray", is "The Garden of Hopes and Dreams",
is "Treeshana", is "Veragrawen Valley", and is "Treeshana's Home of Joy".

Once upon a time there was a very young girl named Karenba. Now Karenba was a girl who lived in . was located between 2 mountains, Carana and Shescuba. Carana was one with a lot of snow and ice and Shescuba had a lot of meadows and forests. One of the most famous forests was . It was of home to one person who the forest was named after. His name was Calamoray Baracramboray. He had a lovely bird named .

Karenba always dreamed of going up into those mountains to meet him, but she could only go out of her own vilage when she was 18. Karenba knew that her 18th birthday was going to be in 3 weeks, so she started to pack things that she thought she might need. She then started thinking of what she wanted to say. when she finally came up with something to say, she waited and waited for her birthday to come.

When her 18th birthday came she had her birthday , then packed her things and told her mom that she would do her ! favorite job, watering the garden just before she left. Ever since she had thought about going to meeet Mr. Baracamboray she had called her garden "" and every time she went into that garden, it seemed within her that her chances of getting to meet him grew!

Finally she said her last words to the garden then set out for . She got halfway there when she met an old woman. "Can you tell me where is?" asked Karenba. The old lady smiled at her,"Going to go see Calamoray huh? Well, I knew him once!"

Karenba looked at her almost wanting to beg her to tell her the story. But since she couldn't beg for her manners training had said not to beg, she just asked how she knew him. "I was an old school mate of his, he was young for his grade. Ya' know he always was smarter tan most." Then the old lady went back to weaving her basket. She didn't look up or even look as though she wanted to talk so Karenba just asumed that she had no more to say.

Karenba got to at about night time so she found a nice warm cave to sleep in and started to fall asleep. Halfway into the night she felt unusually hot air on her she opened her eyes and wanted to scream but in fear that the giant creature looking at her in the eyes would eat her, only slowly rolled over to get a closer look. As she tried to get her eyes to adjust to the darkness, she started to se a hairy figure that was much larger than her.She thought," what is that? is it, yes it is" she then whispered into the still night air "it's a bear!" She closed her eyes and crawled way down into the bottom of her sleeping bag. She tried to act like a worm and get away, but the bear just roared very loud!

Karenba unzipped the bottom,stuck her head out and screamed" help me I am going to be eaten by a bear ah!" She gave out a terribly loud shriek of a very high pitch, and then she heard footsteos, and a loud boom, a bear' s cry and then a voice asking,"Are you alright?"

The first thoughts to race through her mind were, "Is this Calamoray? Is this him? Oh! I didn't have to look to far. I wonder if he-" Suddenly her thoughts were interupted by a strong hand picking her up and another toucihng her shoulder. For some reason it stung. She hadn't noticed it but the bear had scratched her, deep! He told her,"You're going to be o.k. you have a small scratch, but I can fix that back at my cabin" he picked up her bag and then carried her all the way to his cabin.

When they got there, he put a cloth on her wound and then she asked him where is bird was. "I took her outside, she flew to her nest. I call that '' you know. Because she always seems so happy there, anyways, she flew up there, and then I heard another bird calling out to her.

She peeked up, saw him, then flew away.She went away into the sky. I watched her, until I couldn't see her anymore." said Calamoray. "How sad" was all Karenba could say. She almost wanted to say that she could help him find her, but she didn't want to make her wound worse.

For some reason the words came out of her mouth without her even thinking. " I'll help you find her." She almost slapped her mouth shut with her hand, but she didn't want to look stupid in front of this very famous man.

"Well, we should start tomorrow." he said. He then walked her upstairs and shwed her a very beautiful room perfect for her. She slept that night with the window open. She always had her window open at home and thought it would make her feel more at home.

That's when she heard it. This very strange bird noise as if a bird was screaming happily. Then she heard a bunch of little tiny "peeps" and "cheaps". Calamoray came bursting into her room. "Did you hear it?" Calamoray said. "Yes, I heard it, do you think?" "Idon't know." said Calamoray."It sounds a lot like her.Lets go check it out" Karenba put on her shoes and they went out into the lawn.

The bird noises kept coming. She told him to follow her and that it was coming from near her village. They got closer and closer to her village. The noises got louder and louder. When they got to the base of Mt.Shescuba, the noise was almost as loud as if it were right in front of them. It was snowing very heavilly and they could barely see each other. Karenba was holdiing Calamoray's hand, for she was very scared. They started to reach a part where the noises sounded mor upward. Karenba's hand slipped out of Calmoray's hand and she started to shout out his name, no answer. She thought that maybe the snow was blocking her voice from reaching her.

She went out to where she thought she saw . It was her. She was sitting on a nest with another bird, and in between them were about 5 other little birds. She started to climb the tree, it was too slick and cold for her to hold on tight engough. She tried harder and eventually got to the 3rd limb. could tell she was a friend and started to help her up by moving over and pulling at her shirt. Karenba could tell that she was trying her best. The other bird said someting to and she flew off. The other bird was gaurding his young and one of them almost fell our. Karenba caught him. After that, the bird started to loosen up around her.About 20 minutes later came back with Camboray. He helped al of the birds down and Karenba. They went into a cave for the night.

Karenba was cautious at first but Camboray went all the way into the tunnel and back to make sure there were no bears. Karenba fell asleep instantly.

The next morning Camboray walked her back to her vilage and said that she could keep any one of the baby birds that she wanted. She chose the one that she had kept from falling out of the tree. She named it Treeshayna after her mother,yet she twisted the name.

Camboray said that she could drop by any time! From then on she was careful to watch Treeshayna and soon, became Mrs.Baracamboray.
