by
Casey

O ne day an umbrella went out for a walk,
He soon met friend and they started to talk.

And while they were walking, the umbrella said,
You know, little dishpan, you should be in bed.

Why should I? The little dishpan soon asked,
If it rains you will help me to cover my basket.

It is not your basket, the umbrella replied,
It is you I am worried about, he sighed.

For if you got wet, you surely would fall,
And a broken dishpan is no use at all!
