Can I type stories in languages other than English? Please use English!

Two main reasons for using English... Editors at Kids' Space can read and write English and Japanese only. It is difficult to check submissions written in other languages. The present readers and participants are from over 125 countries. (as of 12/97) English is widely used, and it can help us to communicate with people from many different countries. If your first language is English, you are lucky! Please provide encouragement to kids who are non-English speakers. If your first language is NOT English, you are also VERY lucky since you can learn it through the Internet! Don't hesitate to use your second language even when you feel it is awkward because you are making an effort and are on your way to becoming an expert in another language!! We want to encourage young generations to learn English as the global language on the Internet. We will not translate Kids' Space to other languages for this reason. Our Japanese pages will be cut down, a process we've already begun.
