bear What is the "Beanstalk" project?
__________

When we see a nice picture, we often imagine stories from the picture.
When we read a nice story, we always imagine pictures in our mind.

These are things that everyone experiences but cannot be seen by others unless you explain, write or draw.

Beanstalk is a place to show your imagination & creativity through a picture or a story that is dedicated to the original author.
Even when two children have never met, they will be able create a very original picture book through Beanstalk. In fact, most of Beanstalk works are done by children who live in different countries.

To participate, go to Kids' Gallery or Storybook and find a work that stimulates your imagination and creativity.
Then write a story for a picture (this is called Blue Bean work)
or draw a picture for a story (Pink Bean work).

Each of you make our beanstalk grow higher and higher, and give the rest of us a harvest of great creative works.

Please make sure that you are writing a story for an artwork that is not your own picture and that is posted in the Gallery. If you are going to write a story which is not based on a picture, please go to the Original Story Form.
Please make sure that you are sending your picture for a story that is not your own story and that is posted in the Storybook. If you are going to send a picture which is not based on a story, please go to the Gallery Submission Form.
