The year was 1989, there was a boy and a girl, they both in high school. They go to the same school. The school name is Chuuk High School.This all takes place on my island chuuk(truk). It's located in the Micronesia.
Now the boy and the girl love each other very much. Before graduation they promise each other to get married. They say yes, but they didnt know that the parents of the girl already choose a husband for the girl the minute she was born.
A few days before graduation the girl started to skip class. Then on the day of the graduation she didnt show up.
After the graduation the boy went to the girl island and found out that she was getting married. He went back to his island and start to cry, then he took a robe and went up in the mountains and hang himself.
The word on the boys death spread to the girl island and the girl found out that he was dead. She went to the sea and jumped in and drown herself.
All this happened when i was still back on my island in the Micronesia. From that day on parents don't engage their dauther before confront them. But still they are parents who still do that and i know how it feels.................
