"The Clown Statue"

One day, the girl's boss called her. "Can you babysit my children? Tina is four and Bobby is six."
Happy to help her boss, she accepted the job.
When she got to the house, her boss was just leaving. She played games with the children before they settled down to watch T.V. But one thing was bothering her: there was a creepy three foot tall clown statue in the living room. It's eyes seemed to follow her across the room. She shook her head and thought no more of it. Later on, after the kids were in bed, she tried to do her homework. However, she couldn't concentrate with the feeling of the clown watching her. Finally, feeling quite silly, she calls her boss. "I'm sorry to bother you, but that clown statue you have in your living room is creeping me out. I would move it to the closet, but I'm not sure if it's fragile. Is it okay if I do?"
Her boss replied, "Take the kids, and go to the neighbor's house. Now." The confused and frightened teen rounded up Tina and Bobby and walked them across the street. Once she got the kids settled in and explained the situation to the neighbors, she called her boss back.
"Why did you make me leave so suddenly?" she asked, and her boss's reply chilled her to the bone.
"That wasn't a clown statue. That was my insane midget neighbor dressed in a clown costume. He likes to watch what's going on in my house."
