Hare was very fast and always bragging about how great he was. Turtle was slow but kind and gentle. One day hare wanted to show everyone his greatness so he challenged turtle to a race. Hare was bragging and showing off the entire time. Turtle started out slow but kept going and past hare who had stopped for some lunch. Turtle won the race because Hare was showing off instead of competeing.
