Once upon a time, there were 3 little pigs. They wanted to move out of their mother's house and build their own homes. Their mother waved good-bye to them and told them to be careful of the big, bad wolf. The pigs went off to build their homes. They knew that they needed to build strong homes, but the first little pig was lazy. When a man came by, selling straw, the first little pig decided to build his house out of straw. The second little pig was also a lazy little pig, and when he saw a man selling sticks, he decided to build his house out of sticks. The third little pig was a smart little pig and went to look for something strong that he could use to build his house. He bought some bricks and built his house with them, because bricks are strong.
One day, a big, bad wolf came to the first little pig's house. He knocked on the door and said, "Little pig, little pig, let me in." The little pig looked out his window and saw the wolf and said, "Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin". The wolf said, "Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"
The wolf blew as hard as he could and the little pig's house of straw fell down. It was not a very strong house. The little pig ran to his brother's house that was made out of sticks. Pretty soon, they heard a knock on the door. They looked out the window and saw the big, bad wolf.
The wolf said, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!" The pigs said, "Not by the hair of our chinny-chin-chins." The wolf said, "Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"
The wolf blew as hard as he could and the second little pig's house of sticks fell down. It also was not a strong house. The two little pigs ran to their brother's house which was made out of bricks. It was a strong house. Pretty soon they heard a knock on the door. They looked out the window and saw the big, bad wolf.
The wolf said, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!" The pigs said, "Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins." The wolf said, "Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"
The wolf huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed, but he could not blow the house down. The house was too strong. So the wolf climbed onto the roof of the house and crawled down the chimney. But, the third little pig was a smart little pig and he had a plan. He had a pot of boiling, hot water at the bottom of his his chimney. When the big, bad wolf reached the bottom of the chimney, he landed in the boiling, hot water.
"Oooouuuuuuchhhhhhh!" the wolf said, and he ran away from the house and never bothered the pigs again.
