A young woman and her little todler were on a journey
to see a grad church.
They had finally gotten there, and the mother was quite
tired. She sat her boy out on the grasss and walked into the
chapel. Her little boy was playing in the grass only a few inches
away from the edge of a cliff. The mothe sat down to pray and
looked up to see what was supposed to be a statue a a great saint.
She look at the statue and said to herself, "You mean
I have traveled this long and difficult journey to see the ugliest
Saint?"
At that moment, her little boy fell of the cliff and into
the water beow. He was drowning. The mother rushed outside and
saw her boy.
She fell to her knees and prayed to the Saint. "Please
save my son. I was wrong."
No sooner had she finished saying the word 'wrong', a
mound of sand raised from the sea and lifted her boy from the
dangerous waters. When she looked, her boy was happily playing
in the sand.
"Thank you," the mother said. "I believe."
