- 王様はとうとうがまんができず、マラソン大会で１番をきめることにしました。
- ネズミはみんながねている間も、いっしょうけんめいトレーニングをしました。
- そしてマラソン大会の日になりました。 イノシシがせんとうを走っています。
- ネズミはどうしてもゆうしょうしたくてたまりませんでした。
- そこへ長い川がありました。
- かしこいねずみは川のそこの石の上にたって、おぼれたまねをしました。
- それを見たいのししは、ネズミをくわえてはんたいがわのきしへはこびました。
- それでとうとうネズミが1番になったとさ！

The rat trained very hard while the others slpet. On the day of the race, the ox was ahead. Rat wanted to win. But there was a long river. Rat was smart. He stood on an un derwater rock and pretended to drown. The ox brought him to the othere side and he won.
