- むかし3人のなかまがいっしょに旅をしていました。
- ３人はジャングルまでたどりつくと、箱いっぱいの金貨を見つけて、平等に分けることにしました。
- 長い道のりを歩いてきたので、みんなはおなかがすいてたまらなくなりました。
- そこで３番目のなかまが、近くの村に食べものを探しにでかけました。
- ３番目のなかまがでかけるとすぐに、残った２人は3番目のなかまをだまして、
- その金貨をふたりで分けることにしました。
- でもそのはんたいに、３番目のなかまは食べものに毒をいれて、金貨をひとり占めすることを考えました。
- 3番目のなかまがジャングルにもどってくると、わなにかかりました。
- そして２人も、毒入りの食べものを食べてしまいました。
- 金貨は今でもそこにあります。これは３人のよくばりのしるしなんです！
- Long ago three friends were out on a journey. They reached a "jungle". They found a box full of gold and decided to share it equally.
As they have covered a long distance and they were feeling hungry, therefore they decided that the third friend shall go to the nearby village to get some food.
As soon as the third friend was gone, the other two decided to kill the third friend, so that they can get the share of the third friend too.
On the other hand, the third friend poisend the food to get all the gold coins himself.
When the third friend reached to the "jungle" he was killed by his friends. The other two also died by eating the poisend food.
But the gold coins are still
their as a mark of their greed!
