One lovely morning in Quemada Grande, a male Fer-de-lance was sleeping when a bird was looking for food. The Fer-de-lance woke up and saw the bird coming his way. With whipcrack speed, he grabbed the bird in his jaws. He realized that he was not hungry so he put the bird down and thought why can I not make friends? A girl Fer-de-lance comes out from the bushes and asks,†Do you want to get married?†The boy said “Yes, thank you.â€
