One warm spring day, a mother bird was sitting on her eggs when, CRRACK!! One of the eggs hatched when it wasn't supposed to. Oh no, thought the mother bird. Since the baby bird was born early it was considered a runt.
So on the little birdÕs 2-month birthday, her present was some explaining about her birth, a quick good bye, and getting throne out! The poor bird was all alone. That was how it was until the next spring, 14 years later.
"Hello," said a voice from behind the bird. She turned around and saw another bird. "My name is Johnny. WhatÕs your name?Ó he asked. ÒM-m-m-my n-name I-is A-A-Amy,Ó she said, so stunned to see someone talking to her. ÒHello Amy. Want to go play?Ó he asked. ÒSure,Ó she said. Amy was so happy to have a friend.
She and Johnny got married and had 3 kids named Joe, Annie, and Kayla. Oh, and you know how runts are almost always small? Well, Amy grew-up to be the BIGGEST bird there ever lived.
