Now this boy named Brian, was interested! He had been embarassed once because he couldn't climb the very top of a high mountain. Brian ran to the phone and picked up it up.He called one of his friends.
"Hey! Did you see that report on t.v.?" asked Brian.
"Yeah! Sounds preety cool! Ol' Lava Broiler is waking up! Are ya' gonna' go?" pushed his friend, Cory.
"Well, maybe! When it starts boiling....." Brian was interupted.
The t.v. was booming, "Ladies and gentlemen please do not panic! The volcanoe is awaking as we speak! Everyone must please evacuate to higher ground! The following channels will help you with supplies........" Brian couldn't belive it! He would actually have to go out and prove his b!ravery.
"Ummmm, Cory, meet me at the volcanoe. Im going!" choose Brian.
He left a quick note to his mom saying he went out for "supplies". The sky grew darker as Cory and Brian approached the volcanoe. It was active alright! Smoke was coming out of the top and hot fire could be felt. Still, Brian went on. Suddenly, RUMBLE RUMBLE! A loud rumbling, shaking sound was heard. The volcanoe was erupting! Brian ran and ran like he never had before. The evacuation center was a 3 minutes away! The sound only got louder and the lava started to erupt. Brian saw Cory reach the evacuation door and run inside. He looked up and watched Cory ran up to the top of the stairs. The lava gained up on him. That was it. The hot lava poured over him. Why had he been so foolish?
He heard a calling sound. "Brian,Brian,Brian,Brian.....BRIAN!!!! He woke up in his bed sweating. It was all a dream! Thank goodness! But now he knew, no matter who daring you are, never get near a volcanoe! They aren't friendl! y!
