"おばあさんのおせわ"

むかしあるところに、アマンダというおんなの子がいました。アマンダのおばあさんは、お口がきけません。アマンダはおばあさんに、とってもやさしくしていました。そしてたくさん、おてつだいをしました。おばあさんに、ごはんとおやつをあげます。おばあさんがおなかいっぱいになるまで、ごはん、ごはん、ごはんをあげます。

ある日、おばあさんがいなくなってしまいました。アマンダはお母さんにききました。「おばあちゃまはどこ？」
お母さんは「おばあちゃまは、べつのところへ行ったのよ」と、こたえました。
「なぜ、なぜ、なぁぜ？」
「それはね、おばあちゃまがほかのまごにも会いたくなったからよ」

アマンダはおばあさんがいなくなって、さびしくてたまりません。けれどもいっしょにいる間、いっしょうけんめいにおばあさんのおせわをしてよかったと、おもいました。



Once upon a time there lived a child named Amanda. She was very nice to her grandmother because her grandma couldn't talk. So she helped her alot. She fed snacks and food. She fed her and fed her and fed her until she was full.

One day her grandma wasn't there, so she asked her mom what happened?
Her mom said, "Your grandma moved away yesterday."
"Why?" said Amanda.
"Because she needed to be with her other grandchildren."

Amanda felt very lonely and missed her grandma. But she was very glad that she helped take care of her while she lived near by.
