それは、まよなかのことでした。オリビア・アンはねむれなくって、お外に出てみました。山の上には、大きなお星さまがキラキラとかがやいています。

「ムーンビーム、いらっしゃい」と、オリビア・アンはユニコーンをよびました。ユニコーンにのって、山の上から星までのぼっていこうとおもったのです。お星さまに行ったら、まほうの力がもらえるかもしれません。オリビア・アンは何時間もユニコーンを走らせましたが、お星さまにとどくことはできませんでした。

するとそこへ、エンジェルがあらわれて、オリビア・アンを、お星さままでつれていってくれました。お星さまがオリビア・アンにまほうの力をくれたので、ちきゅうにもどることができました。

オリビア・アンは「ありがとう」といいました。

It was the middle of the night and Olivia-Ann could not sleep. She went outside and saw a huge star shining above the hill. "Come, Moonbeam" she said to her unicorn. She wanted to ride up the hill to the star. Maybe it would give her magic. Olivia-Ann rode for hours but couldn't reach the star. Then angels appeared and took her to the star. The star gave her majic and she flew back to the ground. Thank you she said and that's the end.
