わたしはポニーがほしくてたまりません。ピンク色で、空がとべるポニーです。ポニーはユニコーンにも、へんしんできます。わたしはナオミ。ある日わたしは、くさの上にねっころがって、くもを見ていました。そのとき、どこからか、こえがきこえてきました。「こんにちは」 そらから、くもがひとつとびだしてきて、ムクムクとふくらみました。そう、それはピンクのポニーだったのです！ポニーは「いっしょにあそびましょ」と、いいました。わたしたちは、お空であそびました。そのよる、わたしはねないで、こっそりお外へ出ました。そこにはポニーがいて、はねをパタパタさせていました。せかい中のお空へとぼうとしているのです。わたしはポニーに、「わたしも行ってもいい？」と、ききました。ポニーは「行きましょうよ」と、いいました。わたしたちは、日本へ、ロシアへ、ギリシャへ、ちゅうごくへ、きたちょうせんへ、かんこくへ行きました。それからおうちへかえりました。わたしはベッドにねないで、おにわでポニーとねることにしました。つぎの日は、ポニーのおたんじょう日です。わたしはポニーに、くさの中にかくれているようにいいました。おたんじょうプレゼントで、びっくりさせたかったのです。さあ、じゅんびができました！ポニーをよぶと、うらにわが、まほうのおにわにかわりました！アルミフォイルでつくったまほうのこみちもあります。ポニーはこみちに立って、パーティハットをもらいました。わたしは学校で、ポニーのことをしんゆうのアニーにはなしました。けれどもアニーはしんじません。ほんとうのことなのに！

ナオミとポニーはずっとまほうのおにわでくらしています。ナオミはわたしよ。

I have always wanted a pony. A pink pony than can fly. She can turn herself into a unicorn. By the way, my name's Naomi and one day I was lying on the grass, looking at the clouds when I heard a voice. It said HELLO. One of the clouds popped out of the sky and fluffed itself. Of course, it was a pink pony just like I wanted. Then she said want to play with me. We played in the sky. I did not go to bed this night. Instead, I just secretly went outside and found my pink pony. She was flapping her wings, getting ready to fly around the world. I asked can I come with you. And she said SURE. We flew to Japan, Russia, Greece, China, North Korea and South Korea. Then we both went home. I decided to sleep not in my bed, but in the garden with my pony. The next morning it was my pony's birthday. I told her to hide in the grass from our stone path. I was wanting the birthday present to be a surprise. When I was finished, I led my pony to the present. It was turned from a plain old dusty backyard into a magical backyard! It even had a magic path made of foil! She stepped on it and she got a party hat! But when I got to school my best friend Annie did not belive me. And I said it was true!

Now forever Naomi's pony lives with Naomi in the fantasy backyard.
