Diwali is a festival celebrated in India. We burst crackers and fireworks in Diwali and also decorate our houses with lights. I enjoy diwalis but this time I did not. I had virul fever. I would certainly not stay at house while others had fun so I went out and burst a few crackers. I thought that my friends would come a celebrate diwali with me and I waited for them. I waited and waited but they did not come. I saved many crakers for them. I felt that my friends did not like me. They were having fun on their own. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I watched the candles. I was burning with fever but none of my friends cared. They knew that I had fever. Only one of my friends came, Rima. She had heard that I had fever and had come to see me. Is she my only friend? We celebrated Diwali together.

MORAL: The ones whom we think are our friends may be our enemies. We should choose friends properly.
