"チコのお願い"

毎晩、夜になるとチコという名前の小犬が月を見上げていました。 チコは、やわらかな雲に乗って、お月様に飛んでいけたらいいなぁと、一晩中夢見ていたのです。お誕生日の日、チコはケーキにささっているキャンドルにお願いをしました。親友のルディといっしょに今晩、光の雲に乗ってお月様に行けますように！犬たちはそれを聞いて、大笑いしました。

その夜、チコとルディのお家に小さな雲がきました。そして２匹を月に連れていってくれました。チコとルディはそれからずっと幸せにくらしました。

Every night, a lonely little dog named Chico would look up to the moon. All night she would dream of flying to the moon on a gentle cloud. One day on Chico's brithday she wished on the candles on her cake that she would be lifted from the ground on that night by a soft nimbus and be carried to the moon with her best friend, Ruby. All the others dogs heard that and started to laugh. That night,a small cloud went to Chico and Ruby's house and flew them to the moon and from that day on, Chico and Ruby lived happily ever after.
