わたしは森の中を友だちのジャニスと歩いていました。わたしたちは遠足に来ていて、自然歩道を歩いていたのです。ジャニスはつかれて、太い木に寄りかかりました。そして樹皮を少しだけはがしました。するととつぜん木が地面に吸い込まれて、大きな割れ目が口を開けました。ジャニスはその穴に吸い込まれていきました。わたしはジャニスを助けようと、飛び込みました。
わたしたちは花や木でいっぱいの草原にいました。ジャニスはわたしより子どもっぽいところがあるので、お花畑の中でさっそくはね回っています。わたしは座って、帰る道が見つからなかったらどうしようと、考えました。両親はそうさく隊を使って、わたしたちを探すでしょう。それでもし、そうさく隊も吸い込まれてしまったら、そしてだれも見つけられずに、そしてそれがエイリアンの仕業だと。。。
「ワァアアアアアイ！！」と、ジャニスが力一杯叫んでいます。たぶん自分の乗っているドラゴンが本物だって、気が付いていないのでしょう。待って。ドラゴンですって？わたしは上を見上げました。ワ〜オ！
わたしはつばさのある動物は近くにいないかと辺りを見回しました。するとユニコーンがいたので、それに飛び乗りました。
「さあ、ジャニスを連れもどすのよ。さもないといた〜いムチが待ってるから！」と、わたしは叫びました。おどろいたユニコーンはゆっくりと飛び始めました。「急いで！」わたしは、くいしばった歯の間からつぶやきました。
ブルルルルルルルルル〜〜ン！！！
こんなのはアイスクリームを始めて食べていらいの気持ちです。空を飛んでいるなんて！
ユニコーンはすぐにドラゴンに追い付きました。ドラゴンはわたしたち目がけて、火柱をはきました。ユニコーンはやすやすとかわしました。でもわたしのシャツはちょっとだけこげてしまいました。わたしとジャニスは、あんまりはしゃいでいたので、とつぜん振り落とされてしまいました。
「まだ死ぬには若すぎるわ」と、ジャニスが泣きながらいいました。わたしはその時、炎が後ろにある地面の割れ目に穴を開けたのに気が付きました。これで元の世界にもどれるのです！どんどん、どんどん、近づいてきます。さあ、もうすぐ。。。
ドスン！
わたしはベッドから落ちていました。「ああ、夢だったんだわ！」けれどもわたしは、パジャマの一部がこげていることに気が付きました。
「ママ！」
I was walking in the woods with my friend, Janice because this is a field trip to the forest and we were on a nature walk. Janice go tired and leaned against a thick tree. She chipped some bark off and the tree suddenly got suckeed into the ground and something that I would thought to be a dimensional rift opened up. Janice was sucked in and I jumped in to help her. We were in a wonderful meadow filled with flowers and trees. Janice (being more childish than I,) ran off to play romp in the blossoms. I sat down thinking what could happen if we didn't find our way back. Our parents would send a serch party to look for us and they could get sucked in, no one can find them and they'd think aliens to.... " Yaaaahooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!" sceamed Janice at the top of her lungs. Sho probably didn't know the dragon she was riding on was real. Wait a sec, did I say dragon? I looked up. Uh-oh. I looked for the nearest animal with wings. I saw a winged unicorn and jumped on it. "Go get Janice unless you want the biggest whopping of your life!!!" I yelled at the startled thing. It started flying slowly. "C'mon you!" I mumbled through gritted teeth. VVVVVVRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the best feeling I've had since I tasted my first ice-cream. I was flying! The unicorn was soon head to head with the dragon. It shoot a column of fire at us. The unicorn easily dogded it.My shirt got slighty burnt though. Janice and I were still enjoying the fun and that's why we were bucked off so suddenly. "I'm too young to die!!!!" Janice wailed. I suddenly spied a blast of fire break a hole in the rift below us. WE were going back to our own world! Closer, nearer, almost there and...... BLOOM!!! I fell out of bed." Wow, what a dream!" I said, un til I saw a burnt piece of cloth on my nightgown. "MOM!!!"
