毎日、学校の帰りに、わたしは子ども公園のそばにある古いオークの木の前を通ります。ある日、わたしはそこで別世界を見つけました。野性の動物やペットたちが、遊び場に集まっているのです。わたしが初めて遊び場を見つけた時、動物たちはみんな、逃げていってしまいました。けれども今ではみんな、わたしのことを信用しています。
今日も、わたしが葉っぱを持ち上げると、ネズミやウサギ、かしこい犬がみんなやってきて、「こんにちは」と、いいました。わたしはいつか動物たちが、こうして遊ぶことのできるステキな公園を持てたらいいなぁと、思います。
Every day, after school, I walk past the old oak tree by the children's park and find another world. Wild animals and pets alike come to this enchanted playground. When I first found the playground, all the animals ran away but now they trust me.
Take today, for instance. As soon as I lifted up the veil of leaves, Mouse, Rabbit and wise Dog all came and said hello. One day, I hope that all animals can have their own park to play in.
