Jane was very happy on her birthday. When she awoke, she got a big suprise. Her little room was full of presents and cards. Her sister and brother were singing 'Happy Birthday' standing in the middle of her room.

Jane's father and mother came in and gave her a basket. Jane saw the in the basket was a little spanial with a bow tied to it's neck. Jane cried with joy. She named her dog Jacky. From then Jacky and Jane were good friends.
