むかしあるところに、フレックレスという名前のかわいい小ウサギがいました。フレックレスはクローバーやお花、バナナやイチゴが大すきでした。フレックレスのかいぬしは、エミリーです。フレックレスは走っていて曲がろうとする時に、空中でピョ〜ンと飛ぶのが得意でした。エミリーはそれを見て、いつもクスクスわらいます。それからフレックレスはお家のすみをコソコソしては、ちょっとしたイタズラをするのでした。
フレックレスはエミリーと「お鼻」というあそびをするのが、お気に入りでした。お鼻をくっつけあって、最初に「お鼻！」といえたほうが勝ちです。勝つのはいつも、フレックレスでした。
フレックレスは大きな音がきらいです。それからいつでも「仲良し」をしてもらいたがります。だからエミリーはいつもフレックレスの首のところをポンポンとたたいてあげるのでした。
フレックレスとエミリーはいっしょに、夕やけを見ます。それからお星さまを見ては、どうにかして動物の形を作ろうとするのでした。
Once upon a time there was a cute, little rabbit named Freckles. He liked to eat clover, flowers, bananas, and strawberries. Emily was the owner of Freckles. Her bunny liked to do a little kick-hop in the air when he wanted to turn while he was running. Emily would always giggle. Freckles always tried sneaking around the corner of the house, getting into things he shouldn't. Freckles liked to play a game with Emily called "Noses". They would put their noses together and the first one to say "noses" won. Freckles would always win. Freckles was scared of loud noises. He always wanted attention, and Emily would always pet him on his neck. Freckles and Emily would watch sunsets. They also tried connecting stars to make animal shapes.
