"フロウンソの夏休み",

ある春の夜のことでした。フロウンソというのウサギが、穴の中でソファにすわりながら、プンプンおこっていました。なぜって、夏がまだ来そうにないからです。夏休みに間に合わないよ！フロウンソはおこりながらねてしまいました。朝、目がさめて穴から顔を出すと、夏が来ていないかなぁと、あたりを見回しました。あ！夏が来たみたい！
フロウンソはうれしくて、大声でさけびました。ヤッホー！フロウンソは穴の中をおりていくと、旅行のじゅんびをしました。そして６ブロック先にあるウサギ・キャンプに出発です。
キャンプにつくと、ジョージという名前のウサギが入り口のところに立っていました。ジョージはフロウンソの名前を聞きました。ジョージは名前のリストをチェックすると、フロウンソを中に入れてくれました。キャンプ場では、新しいお友だちに会えました。
フロウンソは３日間キャンプにいました。１日目はたのしい日になりました。けれども２日目のお昼の時間、いっしょにお昼ごはんを食べるウサギを探したのに、だれもフロウンソとごはんを食べてくれませんでした。フロウンソは何でかしら？と、ふしぎに思いました。
お昼ごはんの後、フロウンソはとてもつかれてしまったので、テントに帰ってお昼ねをしました。３日目は２日目よりも少したのしくなりました。さあ、４時４５分です。もうお家に帰らなくてはなりません。
フロウンソは楽しかった夏休みのことをいつまでもおぼえていました。そしてまた夏が来るといいな、と思いました。
One Spring evening a rabbit named Frownso was in a hole sitting on his sofa very angry. He was angry because Summer wasn't coming for his vacation. Before he knew it he was asleep and the next morning when he woke up he looked out his hole to see if it was Summer and it was. He shouted with joy. He went down his hole and packed up and started to go on his rabbit vacation which was six blocks away. When he got there a rabbit named George was standing at the gate. He asked his what is name was and Frownso told him. George looked on his list and said Frownso could come in. Frownso went in the camp and he met some new rabbits. He stayed for only three days. The first day wasn't too bad. But the second day when he was eating his lunch he looked around for another rabbit to sit with but none of the rabbits would sit with him. Frownso wondered what was going on. After lunch he was very tired so he went to sleep in his tent. The next day was even better then the second. ! When it was 4:45 p.m. he had to leave. Frownso never forgot that wonderful vacation but he always wanted summer to come again and again. The End.
