"Buggy the Bug Learns to Fish"

One hot summer day Buggy th bug woke up from a long night sleep. He stretched his four arms and yawned. "What should I do today?", Buggy wondered.

He has already learned how to dance, sing, paint, play soccer, and even ride a bike. But you see, Buggy didn't like the fact that bugs got eaten by fish. He want'ed to change that right away! So he decided he would show the fish that bugs can fish too. Although, there was just one problem.....Buggy didn't know how to fish!

Now to fish you have to know how right? Well, Buggy did everything he could to get ready for his big fishing adventure. He made a fishing rod out of a twig, a piece of dental floss, and a small worm for bate. Then he borrowed a book from the library that teaches people or now (bugs) how to fish. He even found a life jacket his size! So Buggy was all ready.

The next week, Buggy walked for hours, and hours to get to the lake. Then he finally got there. He sat on the deck and casted his rod into the lake. He waited for hours! then fially he felt a pull.

He stood up and reeled in his rod as fast as he could. But he was too weak to hold back the weight of a giant fish. So the fish pulled him in the water and dragged him behind him. Bugged was screaming but no one could hear him. after all he was just a small helpless bug. Then the fish let go and Nuggy swam back to shore.

He decided fishing wasn't really his thing. But he still thought he proved a point that bugs can fish.....as long as they know how to handle being dragged across the water by a fish!!!!!!!!
