Lauren, Anna, Marie and Toria were spending their vacation together. No one was going to camp or to another country. They practically sleptvoer one another's houses everyday. Finally, Ann,the brains of the group, said,

"Guys, I want to do something really special this summer! So, I want to show you this!"

She held out a picture of a really beautiful ship. It was pink and it had great facilities.

"How are we going to get in there? Our parents don't even have enough money to send us to camp!", flamed Toria, the hothead of the group.

They thought about it for a while. Suddeny, Marie, the sensitive and usually quiet one, jumped up and exclaimed,

" I know! My cousin, Jenny, wanted to go to Italy as an exchange studen. But her parents didn't have enough money so she found some sponsors."

Again, they thought about what Marie just said.

"I'm not sure about this, guys, said Lauren, the worrywart.

"Where can we get sponsors in a town like this?"

"Hey! Read this!", said Anna.

They turned to her direction and read the manual. There's a contest called Name That Ship. If you can come up with a great and original name, you can win a trip for four friends!

They all began to smile. They all liked that idea. after debating and arguing, they decided what to call it. They started to fill up the entry form when Lauren said,

"Are we really sure about this?"

The three girls shouted,

"YES!"

Now when it came to the first question, they had another debate: Whose name to put. In the end, they decided that Anna should be given credit for introducing the ship contest to them.

They had two weeks of waiting. Until July 21st came. It was the BIG day. The Judgement day. The anouncer kept cracking jokes but nobody laughed.

"Blah, blah, blah!", said Toria.

The anouncer gave in and  proudly shouted out the winner. "the winning entry came from California, given by Ms. Anna Froilan!"

The four girls started shrieking!!! The anouncer continued, saying that they have at least 3 hours to go and claim their prze from the General Store, which was a few blocks away.

Now, the four girls, bonded by love and friendship, are  having a great time on the Friend Ship.
