Once there was a little girl named Rose. Rose had a pot on her window sill with whole lots of other plants. She didn't have a plant to put in the last pot.

One day Rose was walking past a shop she saw the most beautiful flower. Rose asked her mum if she would buy it for her. Rose's mum said,

'No, you have a whole lot of other plants.'

Rose asked her dad,

'Please can you buy the flower for me?'

Rose's dad said,

'Yes, but only if you water the plant.'
