"The Big Blue Bird"

One day Alexandra woke up to the sound of a bird singing. As she was eating breakfast she heard the sound of the bird singing again. Alexandra was determined to find out what was making that beautiful sound.

When she got outside she saw a big, blue bird. She went up to the tree where the bird was sitting and said ,

"Boy, you have a good voice!" "Could you and me be friends?"

No sooner had the two become friends before it was time for the big, blue bird to migrate to Florida. Alexandra knew that the big, blue bird would come back next year.
