One day in the forest, a poor little owl, Sydney was his name, had lost all of his friends. He looked everywhere, but none of his friends were anywhere in sight.

He looked under rocks. In the trees. Every place he could imagine his friends go. And of all things!! It was his birthday!!!

"Where could they be?" wondered Sydney.

One place he dare not go to look. The deep, dank forest. In it was wolves, and other dark creatures that roam their homes in the forest. He would never go in there if someone even promised him all the friends in the whole world. Nobody, I repeat nobody would make him go in there.

An hour later, a leprechaun appeared caught in a trap. Now the owl knew that leprechauns granted wishes. And there was no way he was going to blink. His mom had told him everything he knew. One thing that stood out in his mind was:

"When you see a leprechaun, don't blink or he will immediately disappear."

So he would not blink.

"Can I help you?" he asked the tangled leprechaun straining to blink.

"I believe so," said the impatient leprechaun.

"I will not help you until you promise to grant me three wishes," said the determined owl.

"Oh, Okay. But they'd better be quick." replied the leprechaun.

"Oui Oui, I understand" the owl said as he worked on opening the trap.

"There, I opened the trap!!!" said the exited owl.

"Yes yes now get on with it." Sydney thought trying not to blink. Then he had a brilliant idea.

"Well I would like to be able to blink and still be able to see you. That is my first wish."

And with that, POOF!!!!, he could blink and still see the leprechaun.

"That was amazing!!" said the suprised owl.

"Yea, yea get on with it," said the leprechaun impatiently.

"I would like to know your name," he said finally.

"Now you are what I call a weirdo," said the haughty leprechaun.

"You don't ask for riches, you don't ask for more wishes. All you ask is to know my name. HA HA!!!" said the leprechaun.

All of a sudden he was humiliated.

"My name is Ragialog," said the embarrassed leprechaun looking down at his shoes not as haughtly as usual.

"Well that is a funny name!!" said Sydney chuckling.

Ragialog blushed.

"Okay so it isn't the best name in the world!!!" cried Ragialog with hurt feelings.

"I'm sorry," Sydney made a come back quickly, "Sometimes I laugh at people and hurt their feelings when I don't know it. Will you still answer to my last wish??"

"Maybe if you say it quickly I will," answered Ragialog.

"I lost my friends etc...," Sydney told every last detail. "Can you help me find them? Please?"

"I think I can do that, but you have to go into the forest," answered Ragialog.

What???!!! Wow!!! What a shock!! This was to much for Sydney. There was no way he was going in there.

"There will be a reward at the end. I promise," told Ragialog.

So shakily wondering what the reward was, he walked into the forest. HAOOOOOH!!!! HAOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!! It was a wolf. It scared Sydney very much. It echoed through the trees and vanished into the mountains. That sound ran up Sydney's spine and rattled his brain.

All of a sudden he absentmindedly started running towards home. He got home in 37 seconds. He threw open the door and BBBOOOOOMMMM!!!!!! It was a suprise party!!! All of his friends appeared and brought out of the kitchen the most beautiful birthday cake Sydney had ever seen. And guess who was there. Ragialog!!!!! Ragialog winked at Sydney because he knew that nobody else could see him but Sydney. Sydney winked back.
