"Anna's Flower"

Once there was the sun shining bright and beautiful , beaming down on everything below it as if it owned the world . The flowers would open their petals when the birds would sing their morning song .
One day the sun shone down on a special house . That special house was home to a little girl named Anna . She loved running through the meadow and picking daisys off of their stems in the bright yellow sun with the sky so blue .
One day while walking through the meadow , leaning on the breeze , wind blowing through her hair, she saw a lonely rose in the middle of the field, with its petals drooping , leaves falling ,and thorns breaking off .
Anna had pity for the poor flower , and she took it home right away to water it and to soil it with fresh dirt , and especially to get it some food and light . When she got home the flower was drooping more then ever . She quickly got some food and water for it . She gave it fresh soil to grow in . The flower perked up .
The rose opened its petals as Anna shone her bright charming face on the flower. The leaves perked up and thorns grew back because a good deed had been done . Anna put the flower by her bedroom window and there it has stayed ever since.
