One day, a little girl named Jaymie was walking home from school. She heard a loud "BARK!!" It was coming from a house at the bottom of a gravel driveway.
"Hmmm," said Jaymie, heading down the steep hill.
As she approached the house, the barking got louder, and Louder, and LOUDER!! Jaymie saw a big barn, and walked up to it. The doors were closed, and Jaymie opened them. They creaked loudly.
Suddenly, a loud "Whinny!" interupted her thoughts. She looked up and saw a big, bay horse and a small, black puppy with white paws. The black puppy with white paws walked cautiously up to Jaymie.
"Hey, girl," Jaymie said, reaching down to pet the puppy on the head.Then she noticed a collar on the puppy's neck.
It said, "Tippy".
"Hi, Tippy." Jaymie looked down at her.
"Whinny!!"
The big, bay horse neighed loudly, trying to get Jaymie's attention. Then, a smaller neigh pierced the air. Jaymie walked down to the stall and looked inside. She saw the big, bay horse and a chestnut pony.
Seeing that the barn and house were abandoned, Jaymie said, "I think I'll take you guys home."
So, they all headed home to Jaymie's house. But you should have heard Jaymie's parents yelling when they heard about the animals...
