Story by Hazirah , for Junpei
The sea is very mysterious. Under there people have ventured. They found some things and brought them back to shore. I've heard that some have even died down there. But I'm not too worried. Because once my friend went down to the mysterious sea and came back alive and well. Then she told me her story.
My best friend, Gillian was on vacation. She was bored, because her dad said that she was only allowed to wade in the sea. Gillian wanted to be in the waves, and have fun. But rules were rules. And Gillian knew what her father was like when he was angry.
Then she noticed that her dad was asleep. She decided to break the rules, and decided that if she felt the least bit guilty, she would go back to the shore and confess to father when he woke up.
But she didn't have time to feel guilty. The moment she stepped into the sea, she found herself in a big bubble, floating IN the water. And she saw the most extraodinary things. There was a party!
The little crabs were dancing together, though they were not good dancers. But they didn't seem to mind. Dolphins were everywhere, telling jokes and stories, chatting with each other, having a good time. The musicians were squids and octupuses and fish and tiger prawns.
The whole place was decorated with seaweed, strange-looking flowers, clams, and other stuff. It was a really gorgeous and colourful party. Behind a large octupus, Gillian spotted a stereo and radio. The music wasn't bad, either. She could hear it booming from the stereo from her bubble.
Soon, the sea creatures started breaking up. And then the bubble looked like it was going to burst. Gillian was brought back to shore just before the bubble burst.
When she finished her story, she said softly, "So that's what the mysterious sea is like. A really wonderful and lively place." When she said that I decided she was right. A party in the mysterious sea with loud music, chattering dolphins, dancing crabs and a cool musical band had to be called 'lively', after all.
