Story by Brad , for Midori Yoshida

Bubu and Noko were outside playing and having a good time. They have heard of Australian animals. Bubu thought the kangaroo was clever and Noko thought a koala was clever.

Bubu has an idea and says "I want to be a kangaroo. I will tape ears to me." He tapes up paper ears. Bubu tries it but he doesn't look like a kangaroo. He scratches his head for a while.

"I know what I need. I need a pocket."

He tapes a paper to him and folds in a pouch-shape.

"How do I look?" Bubu asked Noko.

Noko said "Like a kangaroo." Noko gets an idea to be a koala, also. "I need paper, too" Noko said. "I will look like a koala."

He gets out paper and tapes ears to him.

"How do I look?" he asks Bubu, and Bubu says like a koala.

They are happy and decide to play together. Bubu hops around on the ground.

"This is fun!" he says to Noko.

Noko climbs a tree to be a koala. He eats something and says to Bubu "I like it, too!" They all have fun the rest of the day.
