Story by Hilary, for Wyling
Once upon a time there was a hedgehog. He lived in a log. His house
had no fireplace, no power, no light and it was always cold.
One day he decided to go find some heat. He went to the rabbit and said: "Do you have anything that would keep me warm?" The rabbit said"No." But the hedgehog kept looking. The hedgehog felt cold and sad. He went to the porcupine. But then the hedgehog changed his plans because the porcupine was too prickly. He found some yarn under a leaf. The yarn was all different colours.
Hedgehog took the yarn home and made himself a cozy scarf. He knitted with two long pine needles and he knitted with speed because he was so cold.
