お話：ケイシー　絵：もえみ

あるところにひとりぼっちの日本人の女の子がいました。その女の子にはお友だちがあまりいなかったからです。ある日のこと女の子が学校にいくと新入生がいました。新入生の名前はマミー。マミーは女の子のところにやってきて話しかけました。

女の子はとてもびっくりしました。今までだれも話しかけてくれた子がいなかったからです。それから日本人の女の子とマミーは親友になりました。それはマミーが女の子の外見を見て判断したのではなく、お友だちならそうしなきゃならないように、女の子の内面を見たからでした。


Once there was a Japanese girl who was very lonely. She didn't have many friends. One day she went to school and there was a new student. The new student's name was Mamie. Mamie came up to her and started talking to her.

The Japanese girl was very surprised. No one had ever really talked to her before. In the end, the Japanese girl and Mamie became best friends because Mamie didn't judge the girl from the outside, but from the inside, as a friend should.
