お話： ヴェラ絵：ゆうき

むかしむかし、あるところに　にひきのちいさなねずみがいました。そのねずみはとてもあたまがよかったのでおはなしをすることができました。ねずみはまほうのふくろからこえをとりだして、おうちのひとがうしろをむいているすきに、「あっ！　ほんがなくなっちゃってる...」といいました。

おてつだいさんはおへやからでていくとおみずのはいったおさらをみつけました。でもそのおさらのなかにはおはなははいっていませんでした。それからおてつだいさんはねこのさくらをよんで、ねずみがほんをもっていかないようにしてねといいました。でもにひきのねずみはずっとおうちのなかにすむことができました。それはねこのさくらがねずみをかべのあなのちいさなおうちにすまわせてあげたからです。

Once upon a time there were two little mice that, because they were smart, could talk. They took a "voice" from their magic bag and when their masters looked behind they said: "Ah! There's a book missing..."
When the maid went to the room she saw one bowl with water but without flowers. Then she called the cat SAKURA to stop the little mice from stilling books. But the two little mice, could still live in the house, the cat SAKURA just sent them to their little home - a hole in the wall.
