The Greatest Gift.
Once there lived an old man that used to tell children stories, but the stories were not true. One of his story was about the great gift the gods had given the village a long time ago, it all began at a hot day when the great village were all getting ready for a big party, the party was going to be at night and every body was going to give a present to the gods, they would burn the
presents on the fire and the flames would go up to the sky and the gods would see that everyone was happy, but at that day there was one little girl that was not happy because she had no parents, her name was Single, at night she was suspose to bring in the greastest gift she had to show the gods that she was thankful to be alive.
At that night every body was dressed up and ready to party, everybody was happy and there was lots of music and movement.When it was time to burn the presents Single got up from her sit and got ready and as soon as she burned her present a great fire grew and a person came out and said "Hi, I am going to be your mother so you won't be alone"
Single was very greatful for her gift and from that day on everybody called her The Great One.
