むかし、ティガーという名前のネコがいました。 ティガーは、このお話のさくしゃとおんなじで、うみがだいすきでした。 ティガーはビーチがすごくすきでした。だってかきまわすすながたくさんあるから！

ある日、ティガーはビーチでぜんまいじかけのオモチャのネズミをみつけてたべようとしましたが とってもかたかったので歯がおれてしまいました。 たべられなかったから、ぜんまいをまくことにしました。 ネズミがくるくるまわりながらはしっていくのをティガーはおっかけました。 ちょっとばかりうっかりしていたので、ティガーはぜんまいじかけのネズミをおっかけて うみまでいってしまいました。 なみはとても大きくてつよくて、ティガーはおぼれそうになりました。 ティガーの大きななきごえをきいてともだちがたすけにとびこみました。

ティガーはぐしょぬれでしたが、たいしたことにはなりませんでした。 いちおうけんさのために、みんなでじゅういさんのところにつれていきました。 じゅういさんはおれた歯をみて、しゅうぜんしました。 おみずとネコミックスをあげました。

ティガーがビーチにもどると、つんつんしたイヌにあいました。 そのイヌはティガーを水のなかにおいつめようとしました。 でもティガーはもうしっています。 くるっとひきかえしておうちまでかけていきました。


Once upon a time there lived a cat named Tigger and she just loved the beach just like the writers of this story do. She really loved the beach because of all the sand to scratch in.

One day at the beach she found a little toy wind up mouse and she tried to eat it but it was too hard and it broke her tooth. So, she decided to wind it up since she couldn't eat it. As the mouse rolled away, Tigger started to chase it. She was not careful and chased the wind up mouse right into the ocean. The waves were big and strong and Tigger was about to drown. A lifeguard heard her loud meows and leaped to the rescue.

Tigger was wet but not badly damaged. They took her to the veterinarian just to get her checked out. She saw his broken tooth and patched it up. She gave Tigger some water and meow mix.

Tigger returned to the beach and met an unfriendly dog who started to chase her back into the water but Tigger had learned her lesson. She turned around and ran for home.
