"Oh, what should I do?" Carley sighed as she gazed longingly out of her castle window. Carley was a princess, and hated being one. Her father, the king was forcing her to marry a snobby prince from a neighboring kingdom. She wasn't ready for marriage though, and especially not with the horrid prince. She wanted to be able to sit in her garden with her dog Checker running around her legs. She wanted to be able to run like a school girl and swim in the cool lake. All of that would soon be gone though. Once married she would have to behave like a proper lady. Then she would have to wear long dresses that tripped her when she walked, and serve tea to all the fine ladies that came along. It would be no more fun and games. She may be 18, but Carley was still not ready to slow down.
A light knock came at her door and interupted Carley's thoughts. She turned and opened the door. There stood the most handsome man she had ever seen. He was tall and had dark hair. She blushed deep rose, and turned away for a moment. finally she regained her composure and turned.
"Who are you?" She asked. They got into talking, and Andrew was nothing like his brother. He was funny, and let her speak her thoughts."I'm Andrew; you're going to marry my older brother Fredrich."
"You're nothing like your brother." She said.Wedding bells rang as Carley and Andrew ran out of the church's door. Rice flew in their faces as they laughed and hurried into the car. "Maybe being married won't be so bad after all" Carley thought. In her mind she could already imagine them standing side by side in their beautiful clothes. Carley smiled to herself , and then to her husband Andrew."Actually, I'm adopted. Fredrich wanted me to be like him, but I didn't enjoy all his stuffy parties. I'd rather be outside in the fresh air, where the wind sings sweetly in your ear."
"I wish it were you I was marring instead of him". Carley remarked.
Andrew's face lit up. "Do you really mean that?" He asked.
"Yes, of course I do". She answered.
"Hmm... maybe we can arrange that."
