２週間がすぎたのに、それはまたやってきた。すごいかみなりのあらしがふきあれ、いなずまが大きな風車に落ちた。それがおきたとき、さいわいなことにそのお家の人々はおかいものにいっていなかった。ニュースレポーターたちが世界中からやってきて、そのお家の人にインタヴューしたり、お家をみたりした。お家がこわれてしまったお話はどの新聞でも第一面にのった。一家はどこにも住むところがなかったので長いキャンプの旅にでかけた。

一家が住んでいた町ではその時エイリアンがしゅうげきしてきて町をしんりゃくしてしまいました。一人のエイリアンは市長になろうとせんきょにでることを決心して、みんなに自分にとうひょうするようにさせたのです。一家がお家がどうなっているかみにもどってくるとおどろいきました。なにも前とかわっていないからです。あるきんじょの人がエイリアンのしゅうげきのことをつたえると、その一家は政府に電話をかけました。そしてエイリアンの市長はぜい金をはらわなかったのでたいほされてしまいました。ほかのエイリアンたちは市長をかえしてもらえるかどうか心配になりました。そこでエイリアンたちは一家のお家をなおすお手伝いをしますからともうしでたのです。一家はエイリアンのもうしでをうけいれて２年もたたないうちにお家にかえることができました。

でもただ一つもんだいがありました。お家がスペースシップの形になってしまったことです。エイリアンはそんなふうにしかお家のたてかたをしらなかったからです。一家はかんかんにおこって、エイリアンにむかってさけびはじめました。エイリアンはとてもこわくなってスペースシップにのって自分たちのわくせいにとびたっていってしまいました。一家はもとのお家をかえしてもらえなかったのでとてもきげんがわるくなってしまったのです。

このお話のいいところは、一家はなんにもしなくてよくなったこと。コンピュータがいろいろなことをぜんぶしてくれたからです。それにスペースシップの形をしたお家をもっているのはこの家族だけだったので、世界中からみんながツアーでやってきました。でも一家はおふろのおけにエイリアンの赤ちゃんがいることだけはだれにもいいませんでした。

Two weeks passed, and it happened again. There was a big thunderstorm, and lightning struck the big wind vane. Luckily, the people who lived in the house were out shopping when it happened. News reporters from all over the world came to interview the family and look at the house. The story of the house exploding was on the front page of every newspaper. The family didn't have any place to live, so they went on a long camping trip.
Meanwhile, back at the town they lived in, aliens had attacked and invaded the whole town. One of the aliens even decided to run for mayor and forced everyone to vote for him. When the family came back to see how thier house was coming along, they were suprised to see that nothing had happened. When one of thier neighbors told them about the aliens attacking, the family called the government and the mayor alien got arrested for not paying his taxes. The other aliens were anxious to get him back as mayor, so they offered to help repair the family's house. The family agreed, and within two years they had thier house back.
The only problem was, it looks like a spaceship, since that's all the aliens knew how to build. The family was furious, and started shouting at the aliens. The aliens were so frightened that they took off in their spaceship to thier home planet. The family was very upset that they didn't have thier original house back.
The good thing about this story is that the family never had to do anything again, as thier computer did everything for them. They were the only family that had a spaceship shaped house. People came from all over just to have a tour of it. The family didn't tell anyone that they had a baby alien living in thier bathtub.
