むかしむかし、あるところにクリスティという美しい小さな女の子がいました。クリスティはお花がだいすき！　毎日クリスティはお外にいってお庭の手入れをしました。クリスティはお花と話したり、いっしょに遊んだりできたらなぁと思っていました。

ある日のこと、キラキラと輝く金のドレスを着た妖精がやってきました。「あなたは何ていい子なの！　あなたがよろこぶ願いをひとつだけかなえてあげる。」とその妖精はいいました。クリスティは何がほしいのかもうわかっていました。「わぁ、ありがとう。やさしい妖精さん。わたしね、お庭でパレードがしたいのよ！」妖精はクリスティの願いをかなえてあげました。美しいクリスティを見るとお花たちがみんな息をふきかえしました。

パレードがおわると妖精はクリスティにお花はもうお花でいられなくなっちゃうのといいました。クリスティはとても悲しみましたがお花が風船のように空に舞い上がるとクリスティの心もうきうきしました。

クリスティのお花たちは今では空の星に植えられていることでしょう。クリスティは明日からまた新しいお庭を作りはじめようと心に誓いました。


Once upon a time there was a beautiful little girl named Kristi. Kristi loved flowers! Everyday Kristi went out and tended her garden. She wished she could talk to the flowers or play with them.

One day a shimmering fairy came down dressed in gold. she said " You are such a nice girl I want to grant you one wish that will make you happy." Kristi knew what she wanted. "Oh Thank you kind fairy I want to have a parade in my garden!" The fairy made it so and when the flowers saw the beautiful they all came to life.

When the parade was over the fairy told Kristi that the flowers couldn't be flowers any more. Kristi was sad but when she saw her flowers float away as balloons her heart soared.

Now her flowers would be planted on the stars in the sky. Kristi decided that tommorrow she would start her new garden!
