むかしむかし、あるところにティミーというなまえのくるまがありました。ティミーはあまりおともだちがたくさんいません。いつでもガソリンスタンドではいちばんさいしょのれつにならぶことができませんでした。だからティミーのもちぬしはティミーをおそとにつれていくのもはずかしいとおもいました。

ティミーはどうしてだれもすきになってくれないのかわかりませんでした！　あるひのこと、ティミーのもちぬしがティミーをあらうためにおそとにつれだしました。

ティミーがあわだらけになると、おおきくてかっこいいくるま、バッチがおうちのそばにとまりました。その日、ふたりはながいことおはなしをしました。

バッチがいうには、ティミーにはなにももんだいがないというのです。ティミーはすごいくるまでした。ティミーはいつもよくはしって、いつもナイスできれいでした。ティミーはじぶんがまちいちばんのくるまだっておもわないなんて、ちょっとあたまがおかしくなちゃったんだとバッチはおもいました。

その日からティミーはじぶんのしたことすべてをほこりにおもうようになりました。

There once was a car named Timmy, he didn't have many friends. He was never first in line at the gas station, and his owner was embarresed to even take him outside.
Timmy never understood why know one liked him! Then one day his owner took him outside to wash him.
When he was getting all soaped up and clean Butch, one of the biggest and coolest cars stopped by his house. Timmy and Butch had a long conversation that day.
Butch said that there was nothing at all the matter with Timmy. Timmy was a great car, he always runned well and always was nice and clean. Butch thought Timmy was crazy for not thinking was one of the best cars in the town.
From that day on Timmy was very proud of all the things he did.
