ときどきぼくは海をながめておもう...　もし水えいがじょうずだったらなんてすてきなんだろうって。ぼくはちいさなお魚や、クジラや、マーメイドたちとあえるもの。でもそれはゆめの中だけ。だってぼくはおとこの子だから。いつか大きくなったら、ぜったいぼくは水えいがじょうずになるんだ!　世界の海をおよいでわたるんだ!

Sometimes I look at the sea and I think ... How nice it will be if I was a good swimmer. I will meet all the little fishes, whales and mermaids. But I can only dream, because I am only a boy. One day I will grow up and I will be a very good swimmer! I will cross all the oceans in the world!
