むかしむかし、あるところにギズモという一ぴきの白ウサギがいました。ギズモはひとりもお友だちがいません。ある日のこと、ギズモがぴょんぴょんととびはねながらいなか道をいくと、小さな家のまわりいちめんにクローバーがはえているところをみつけました。

ギズモはよつばのクローバーがないかどうか、あちらこちらをさがしてました。そしてギズモはとうとうみつけました、よつばのクローバーを。ギズモは目をとじて、ねがいがかないますようにといのりました。ギズモが目をあけると、それはとってもきれいないなか道でした。それよりももっとおどろいたことに、ギズモはたくさんの動物たちをみつけました。いろいろためしたあとで、ギズモのまわりにはたくさんのお友だちができました。それは前にはそうぞうがつかなかったことでした。

Once upon a time there was a white rabbit called Gizmo. She had no friends. One day she went for a hop in the countryside and saw a field of clover around a little house.
She looked and looked until she found a four leaf clover. She closed her eyes and made a wish. When she opened her eyes she saw just how beautiful the countryside was and what was more she saw lots of other animals so the result after a lot of trials was that she had friends all around her and hadn't even realised it before.
